The dumba--es who are thinking they are helping inbred native runs of fish are killing our costal fishery industry as well as our sport fishing. Many fisheries claim they don't get enough funding for fish food and other necessities to continue a sports fishery, fin-clipped run in our rivers because all the focus is being divertet to an imaginary native fish recouperation. Meanwhile, congress has approved $100,000,000.00, that's ONE-HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS to help the commercial fishery industries on the west coast. Here's my solution. Start with using all the psuedo-intellectuals as food for all the "native" fish, give the $100,000,000.00 to the hatcheries to make as many fish to have the return fish that we should have been be seeing all along. By the way... if you ever want to see where a "native fish" has it's beginning, go to a hatchery when the smolts are held to be released. Look in the swirling mass of fish to see the distinctive white adipose scar on their backs and notice how many were somehow not clipped. There are quite a lot! These fish upon return will be considered a native, or "holy" fish and permitted to spawn in the river even though this unclipped hatchery fish (which was originally a native fish from another river stock anyways) will show all the extreme enviromentalists that they are "suck-seeding" with all thier  B.S. infringrment on our fishing for sport or livelyhood. You could give me a LOT less than $100,000,000.00 and I know that I could get our fisheries in order within just a few years. They all have made a simple solution into a complicated, confusing and expensive mess---with your tax dollars! That's all...I could go on here but Al Gore is on the phone to sell me some carbon offsets.
