Well I figure by Wednesday, I should be able to get up the mountain to my fishing grounds. I am hopefull that the fish have arrived in the last week or so, and they will be available for taking pictures. In the meantime, Amanda and I, have constructed an eight foot high snow ramp.

                  Hope all had a great Christmas and are planning a good New Years Eve. Hopefully the new year will bring more fish to Alaska, and the Northwest. Also we need to come together as a Steelhead community of fisherman, and put a halt to the radical environmentalist and the conservationist, that are trying to incorporate an all Native population to the local rivers. In turn this will put a stop to any retaining of fish, and it will in the long run, put a stop to all fishing with baits and anything else they can come up with to stop us from fishing the great Northwest Steelhead. I have been told by the Hatchery workers at Eagle Creek, that this may be the last year that Steelhead are trapped and raised for return to this very productive creek. This will only give me about 4 more years of decent fishing, before the creek becomes all Native Steelhead, of which I catch about 20 a year. That  would not be good if that was all that was available. Anyway, I am rambling on, so enjoy the small video, and keep in mind about the Steelhead fishing. I should be out next week on the creek, hopefully with some good news.
