Same fish, two days later.

Well I can’t say it was great today, but I think I got into more fish than most of the world. I hooked 4, and landed 1. The one I did get though, was the exact same fish as Friday. It was only two holes up river. Why these fish are not moving is a mystery to me. This is the second time the water has come up this year, and I have caught the same fish, in nearly the same spot, two days later. Why are these fish stopping? If anyone has an idea, let me know. The water is not rippen, or blown out, and it is still very clear, but the fish are just not going anywhere!!. I am starting to look back at some pictures, to see if I am getting the same fish over and over again. Confusing, these fish can be! I will continue to try, and see how it goes. Here is the same fish from Friday, in a different spot on the river,  Ha Ha

Good luck out there.

This has been happening more often than we think.  I have done the same thing for the past month.  I believe they are just making "laps" in the top mile.  I catch a few fish at the top end, and then 3-5 days later the Stump hole will hold the same fish from the riffle, down to the slack behind the rock.  I got tore up yesterday by a 39" fish I have hooked and banked twice.  They really are that stupid aparantly.
